  smoothjunk - Well, i dunno what torrent DL service u use but I use frostwire and when I drag and drop the torrent into the engine the list of what is inside the torrent pops up. From there u can just check each indisual file that u want to DL. Leave the others u dont want unchecked and they wont be DL’ed. This is why I didn’t bother to put a list of the books inside because i assumed (perhaps wrongly) that most torrent engines work like frostwire. At least all the ones I have ever used in the past.

  Nice Data Dump! Shame there is no Gendre or listing. Have to agree with Gweilo. I could do a 9TB audiobook dump - unlisted books without titles or references. But my pride as an Uploader prevents that!

  @ KimKimkim. It wasn’t meant to sound harsh. Just a valid point regarding mega torrents.

  A single author collection is by far the maximum needed to keep torrents alive.

  Concider this situation.

  1. Downloaders have to keep the full 100 gb running as a seed or the torrent dies, OR

  2. If most only choose the books they like the unliked books or not seeded. Hence the torrent never becomes 100% seeded. comments become full of stuck at 82% please seed.

  Do any of these two “going to Occur” results seem a good idea?

  @ bleam200. Try to educate yourself. lesbian couples can achieve twice the birth rate of straight couples. Being a lesbian does not equate to sterile.

  If two people want to share their lives together, Why is this a problem? Because it offends your morality, you let the starving around the world die, but take offence from two people in love. What a sad life you live when the latter needs voicing but the former silence.

  regardless of the content of the books,
  people who are complaining about no list..
  I use Bittorrent, but i KNOW other clients do the same,
  it will bring up the list of all the books…
  simply browse and grab the ones you want, unclick the ones you don’t
  hard to comprehend the people who complain over FREE BOOKS
  she took the time to gather and share books…did i mention FOR FREE?
  reupload yourself if you want it a certain way…
  while it’s really not my style, i will grab a few to try out.
  you never know… maybe i’ll get over my homophobia lol :)~ JK

  You miss the point entirely. The site is a TORRENT sharing site. The most important and that is Important with a huge capital “I”. is that if the torrent doesn’t achieve and maintain 100% - it dies. A torrent site with dead torrents is a chocolate fireguard - actually worse as melted chocolate has a use, whereas a dead torrent doesn’t.

  If you care to note. The uploader does many Author Compilations - none of which elicited a response or a 1 star. This Torrent received a 1 star from me as it fails to take longevity into consideration. Longevity is a must for torrents and torrent sites to succeed.

  Free books are good. But a torrent site promotes free books for good, not just a day. If a torrent was only meant to survive a day - why save it to a torrent site?

  Explaining the folly is not a criticism of the uploaders’ worth. Only why other uploaders AND nearly every forum continually point out why large torrents are inherently damaging.

  Non-aware, believe they are doing a service. When=n in actuality they are destroying the torrents in existence. Is EVERY single audiobook in this torrent not already uploaded. So those torrents die. Yet 100gb torrents are NOT SUSTAINABLE. Most people will not seed several 100gb torrents - especially from a seedbox! Even 10gb is a strain on a seedbox - It is a matter of bandwidth costs.

  If you want Superfast downloads, you need members who use seedboxes to seed. I spend £30 a month to maintain mine for this site, that is on top of my normal home fibre optic broadband assisting.

  As I said - I could dump 7TB of audiobooks onto the site in a single torrent. Without listing all the books it doesn’t even need any time or effort. A single book upload takes about 10 minutes, to gather the details and the audio sample plus pictures, rip the audio and create a torrent. To do a data dump takes less than 30 seconds. Create a torrent by select file. Upload torrent - 3 clicks.

  So tell me - which do you like, a torrent that is there tomorrow, with details of who wrote the book what it is about and knowing the torrent is there next year. Or a data dump?

  Sure. AFTER you find and load the torrent. In six months, you are searching for a book, and it doesn’t come up because they aren’t in the description.

  I have to admit, that since writing the comments here, Gweilo pointed out in the forum that as long as all the audiobooks are seeded by a collective. ie if several members collectively host all the books, then the torrent still maintains 100%. Which is fantastic in regards to sustainability.

  It appears that my understanding of torrent sustainability is well outdated. (Thankfully).

  I am not saying I wouldn’t prefer single torrents, or series, with a description; however, that is a personal preference rather than a legitimate argument against Mega-torrents.

  I’m a sucker for Urban fantasy, and for D/s relashionships, but any very good written story could do tbh.

  I started An Education in Malice of S.T. Gibson and it’s refreshingly good, it doesn’t seems to be in this torrent but I found it on this site.

  Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
  The problem with DL only certain files means people get suck at 90% etc. The whole point of torrenting is to join the swarm and help seed so others can get the files as well as yourself. You cant seed what you dont DL. So when the uploader stops seeding you end up with an incomplete upload as not everyone has DL all the files. Thats why most people stay away from mega packs.

  Thanks so much jadedgothgirl for putting together this omnibus of a FF audiobook list!! Chuffed to bits! However, for some reason, the magnet link can’t be converted to torrent. Webtor.io keeps canceling the conversion with this message: “Content access restricted upon request of the Rightholder. Sorry.”

  How do I dl the torrent directly without the magnet, then? I clicked on “Start torrent” and it’s stuck at 0%. I thought I could extract the torrent file so I could dl it with my torrent engine, Folx. Please help!
