What does diversity do? What are we doing when we use the language of diversity? Sara Ahmed offers an account of the diversity world based on interviews with diversity practitioners in higher education, as well as her own experience of doing diversity work. Diversity is an ordinary, even unremarkable, feature of institutional life. Yet diversity practitioners often experience institutions as resistant to their work, as captured through their use of the metaphor of the “brick wall.” On Being Included offers an explanation of this apparent paradox. It explores the gap between symbolic commitments to diversity and the experience of those who embody diversity. Commitments to diversity are understood as “non-performatives” that do not bring about what they name. The book provides an account of institutional whiteness and shows how racism can be obscured by the institutionalization of diversity. Diversity is used as evidence that institutions do not have a problem with racism. On Being Included offers a critique of what happens when diversity is offered as a solution. It also shows how diversity workers generate knowledge of institutions in attempting to transform them.

Two religions that the Western world, especially the US, is in dire need of checks/balances-
‘Dindonuffin’ Atlantic Slave Trade Worship, along with a faulty view that the 60’s Civil Rights movement wasn’t overwhelmingly a Ford/Rockefeller/Carnegie Funded Venture- all of whom later crushed those same movements when they opposed wars abroad and the initiatives of Israel.
& ‘They’ll always hate us’ Holocaustianity
They’re essentially the same religion, funded/founded by many of the same people- bloated by Hollywood, and try to block out all of the atrocities, genocides, including other ‘holocausts’ and slave trades, others have endured. The term ’slave’ itself comes ‘Slav.’ Read the books ‘White Cargo,’ ‘White Gold,’ ‘They Were White, and They Were Slaves,’ or go back further and listen to Dan Carlins episode about the Celtic Holocaust- and you can see over a thousand years of suffering, slavery, and genocide there that you ‘woke’ normies have been blinded to. On WWII Germany- just read Norm Finkelstein. It’s gross how much ‘Nazi’ keeps being brought up just to bolster ADL/Criminal protection rackets- same with BLM, who broke records for mass shootings, arsons, and sold automatic weapons to Latin American Cartels- who kill journalists and activists. That sound ‘woke’ to you?
