the bitrate isnt aggressive its mono meaning it has half the audio channels and will have close to half the bitrate. tbf stereo does not make much sense unless there is music.

Erm, another professor that takes over someone else’s body? This is the 3rd book with a similar premise I’ve seen in a month. Popular theme it seems. Lets see if its any good.

I checked it, I can’t notice any problems with the audio. No idea jkintzy57, DarkPark and Norzone are talking about.
cnkamerican… is it just me, or do those same 3 peeps comment that same thing on almost every one of your audiobooks? Either they have REALLY high quality audio, or it’s just trolling.

Okay, minor point of correction, they have commented on maybe 2 other audiobooks of yours with the same issue. Definitely not dedicated trolling at least, but that still leaves me with no idea how they are noticing bitrate issues, and I can’t detect any even when listening for it.

People can create whatever folder structure they want. What they can’t do is remove a folder structure that’s part of the torrent.

And folders don’t take up more than a few bytes of storage, so what is the issue, apart from it having been egocentric from the uploader? My Audiobook app does read stuff that’s inside nested folders.

It’s not about storage space, it’s about organization. Some of us keep torrents in our client effectively forever. When torrents come with these types of folder structures, it breaks our organization and makes the torrents harder to manage. The name of this torrent is the author’s name. If you have 5 torrents from this uploader all organized the same, there’s no way to search for them in your client as they all have identical names. You can’t filter by path either since clients don’t filter based on inner-torrent paths. Thus you end up with long, duplicated folders if you want to keep things organized: type/category/author/series/author/series/book/single-audio-file-that-starts-with-a-1-despite-being-book-6. When you try to back this stuff up, sometimes that puts you over the path character limit too.
It’s a very minor issue. Just letting him know that his being helpful is not helping everyone. Having a single folder or file with just “bookNumber title” is the most flexible option, allowing nearly everyone to apply their own organization.

Yea I have my own style I prefer. It is Audiobook file folder- then first letter of the authors name as a folder so X - Author’s - then the authors name as a file folder so for this it’s Xkarnation - then a folder for the series Reborn As A Demonic Tree Series - last of all is the various file folders with the actual files in them labeled with the book number, name of the book and a few tags so I can know what the book is about without looking it up before I listen to it. Like this 06 - Reborn As A Demonic Tree 6 A LitRPG Isekai Realm World Fantasy Adventure (Unab) sometimes
I have to shorten things or move them to the beginning of my drive to name them then move them back so they will fit but I can usually make everything fit except for those long name Light Novels. For those I add a separate note in the file with the full name and tags. But that how an obsessive compulsive person does things and I’m sure it’s way more work than most people are willing to put into it.
