This book is Zio Propaganda. There was no displacement!!!!!!!! then how on earth all these Arabic Cities from Akker to Haifa became Jewish in overnight. the one who wrote this book gotta visit some camps of millions of refuges still waiting to come back to their cities and stolen houses. Israel is illegitimate state was built on already established state and society by force and ethnic cleansing in name of religious right by help of the world biggest empire the brits. Regarding the ancient & established Jewish homeland of Israel & contentious etymology, Palaistī́nē & palaistês, the Greek word for “wrestler/rival/adversary” - has the same etymological meaning as the Hebrew word “Israel” (”to wrestle with God”). The name being a portmanteau of the word for Philistines with a direct translation of the word Israel into Greek (in concordance with the Greek penchant for punning on place names).
Until a few decades ago, the name “Palestinian” was only associated with the Jews & Christians who lived there. As such, it was rejected by the Arab Muslim population.

I can’t believe how biased this book is. Israel is in for a reckoning for its persecution of Palestinians. Let us be honest here: Israel was founded by militants willing to murder the UN peace envoy who actually saved Jews during WW2.
There is ugliness and atrocities committed by both sides in this conflict, but the Israelis are locked in a constant struggle against the Palestinians. How long will Israel stay this course of Apartheid? There is already a ticking demographic time bomb due to the extreme demographic surge of ultra orthodox/Hasidic groups who don’t have to serve in the armed forces.
I live in Ocean County NJ so I understand how this extreme population growth can lead to a serious backlash. The Toms River Republican mayoral primary in June was waged solely on the issue of overdevelopment because Hasidic Jews have gigantic families. Lakewood NJ is even building apartments on golf courses. Sadly this contributes to an antisemitic backlash which I don’t agree with.
You can’t make believe you are a western democracy when you reduce millions of people to second class status in isolated Bantustans. It is simply hilarious to claim that status while brutally occupying the West Bank and filling it with immigrants who are forced to live surrounded by a hostile indigenous population.

Israel has its faults, as does every country, but let’s not leave out the role of the Palestinian government, or the lack thereof. The old men sitting on the seats of power and keeping the reigns of control refuse to do much at all to lift their people up. They cynically skim money coming in for the Palestinians and instead of building schools and creating job opportunities instead suck up money for themselves. The freeze the conflict in place by doing nothing. Abbas and his cronies are thieves and use the conflict with Israel to take the focus off themselves, off their failure to govern or to lead. Shame on them.

Common sense failure alert: you neglect to factor in key operative considerations & political realities. The ancient homeland of the Jewish people is surrounded by nightmarish, despotic hellholes; with the most appalling records on human rights, anti-democratic, with conditions of slavery, subjugation of women, judicial murder of gay people, persecution of those who are different, sponsoring of terror, denial of fundamental rights, and on and on.
They have repeatedly attacked Israel in coalition, trying to “cleanse” the Jews again. They want another genocide of the Jews, and deny their home’s right to exist.
“The Jeeewz!” must always be framed as worse than everyone else.
These appalling regimes, like the brutal, corrupt Hamas, seek to distract their populations with time-honoured Jew hatred. Concentrate on Israel, & no one’s concentrating on those regimes. And Jew-hating scapegoating has always been quite easy to internationalise.

Given that you also targeted Ireland, this country, just like the ancient homeland of the Jewish people, was invaded by brutal imperialists many centuries ago.
