Of course it’s still a pseudonym if it’s announced. It’s not a *secret*, but it’s still a pseudonym - it means, literally, “false name.”

Huge respect to Rowling and all, but it’s clear why the books under the Gilbraith name never took off.
At least she got better. Way better.
