Guilty Men closes with a call for a version of the Pecora Commission, initiated by newly elected Franklin Roosevelt, that took aim at what FDR called “speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, and profiteering” that stoked the Depression. The commission led to some of the most far-reaching reforms in US history, as well as sensational hearings that led to the fall of the leading bankers and financiers of that era.

According to Oxfam, the richest 10 people (Musk, Bezos, et al) saw their income more than double during the pandemic, from $700 billion to $1.5 trillion.
And according to Forbes, 40 new billionaires emerged as a result of the Covid racket, most of whom are in pharma and biotech.
At the same time the bottom 99% saw their income decline, with vast amounts of Mom & Pop stores being wiped out.

Looks like some good, evidence based, investigative journalism. It’s a shame that the response to this Corona virus has become so politicized, but these are the rouges who started the politicization, and a book naming names is welcome. I’ll be sure to seed for a long time.

Science is a process of change with new information. Newton’s ideas lasted for 400 years till Einstein came along. Newton’s “laws” still work good enough to get a spacecraft to the moon. Good lord, of course a 2000 year old book doesn’t change. Science is not static like old mythology.

More dross.
There was a science-based plan for handling pandemics in place.
It included no masks, no lockdowns, no social distancing because these are all tools of clowns and have been conclusively demonstrated not to work. You can literally find the original CDC plan online - and it explains in detail why none of these measures work.
This was abandoned in a media-driven “panic” augmented by government psy-ops (particularly in the UK - and this is undisputable, SAGE has already apologized for what they did in stoking fear) and then aided and abetted by the technocrats, media and big pharma as they looted the land.
This is as much Trump’s fault as the imaginary Russia crimes he was supposed to have committed.
Too much politics and always from the low-IQ leftists. As long as it says “Trump Bad” they’ll buy it and believe it. This book actually deserves to be pirated.

A good book, despite that it’s very US-centric, and the fact that the Republican fanboys don’t like it.
The only issue is that the final chapter (the Conclusion) is truncated somewhat.

I checked against a ebook, and there’s about 6 pages missing at the end of the conclusion, and the “A Note on Sources” section, but I don’t know if that’s included in the audiobook.
