Being possessed is only half the problem; the real issue is being possessed by a demon bored to tears by your boring, mundane life. Makes them misbehave.

Ideally you want to enthrall a demon, not get possessed by it.
Some people do the whole 9 yards with a human sacrifice, a circle drawn with tar, and dozens of black candles, but that isn’t necessary.
All you need is a birthday candle, some sidewalk chalk, and either a mosquito or a bedbug (to squish for the blood). If you can’t find a mosquito or bedbug for the human blood you can always prick your finger but that hurts.
Good luck summoning your first demon! Remember, keep your wishes simple and make sure there are no loopholes in which they can give you what you asked for but not what you really want.
