Camille Coduri reads this brand-new novelisation of the Ninth Doctor’s debut TV adventure.
“Nice to meet you, Rose. Run for your life!”
In a lair somewhere beneath central London, a malevolent alien intelligence is plotting the end of humanity. Shop window dummies that can move - and kill - are taking up key positions, ready to strike.
Rose Tyler, an ordinary Londoner, is working her shift in a department store, unaware that this is the most important day of her life. She’s about to meet the only man who understands the true nature of the threat facing Earth, a stranger who will open her eyes to all the wonder and terror of the universe - a traveller in time and space known as the Doctor. This is the story that relaunched Doctor Who for the 21st century, novelised by showrunner Russell T Davies from his original script.

Been wondering if this audiobook would get posted.
Thank you!

Why are each chapter separated into its own .mb4 file instead of either posting separate .mp3 files or making 1 .mb4 file?
Thank you!

Great Job. Again !! Ty

@MrMojo because that’s the way InAudible splits them. I’d rather have seperate m4bs than re-encode them to MP3 resulting in more quality loss
This way, you can also merge them with InAudible with each file becoming an embedded chapter in 1 M4B

@kaching335
According to some websites, “…the [Inaudible] software is not available [anymore] for downloading and usage on any of the available platforms…”
Thanks for the audiobook :)

I think what MrMojo is trying to say is, creating one m4b and keep the chapter marks in and also add a cue file. That way you are not losing quality as it is still a lossless m4b, and you still have chapters marks with a cue file as well for those who need to convert it to mp3 and split by chapters.

Also, after you load the aax file into inAudible, make sure the box to the right of the “Output File” box, is green with “Lossless” written in it. If it’s not, change the “Output Type” to “True Decrypt”.
In the “Chapter Options” section, untick the “Split by Chapter Markers” checkbox and all other options in that section but tick the “Embed M4B Chapters” if it is not ticked. Adjust chapters if neccessary but don’t split by silence or fixed durations, please. There’s no need to as you get your chapters done properly, inside the single m4b.
In the “Special Options” section, tick the “Create CUE file”, “Embed Cover” and “Save cover art as file” checkboxes.
And if you want but not crucial to the m4b file, go to the menu bar and then “Settings/Advanced Settings/Others and tick “Create .NFO”.
All these settings will create 4 files, 1 x m4b, 1 x cue, 1 x jpg, and 1 x nfo. The m4b file will have the chapter marks built into the file, and cue file is there if someone wants to convert it to mp3 split by chapters. The cover art is an extra and the nfo file shows a bit of info of the settings and description of the audiobook.
But, it’s up to the uploaders to decide which way they want to create the AB, the settings above are just my personal choices and I don’t mean to preach to anyone who likes to do it different, after all, it’s all about the sharing.
And saying that, thank you for your uploads which ever way you want to share them.

The point is - I share these from my personal collection. I personally split them as my Android app does not read chapters from m4b. If I am to seed them later, I upload as I myself keep them.
