It starts out really well but by the end the constant reputation of what’s going on and how characters feel got really annoying. Haven’t listened to book 2 yet but if it’s more of the same then I can’t recommend this series.

there is a male voice actor and a female voice actor so youd think the male would do men voices and the female would do women voices and share the characters. Nope.
Each voice actor does a few chapters then the other one would do a chapter. so each character has different voices depending whoever is in charge of the chapter.

@AchoZen 90% of book written by women have that issue. For some reason women authors think that we really really want to hear what is going on in the characters mind in some sort of obsessive manner. Think the Twilight books. Some people like that kind of thing but I personally don’t. It is why male authors lead in best selling books. Most people dont want to hear about a character hyperventilating in their head. Thanks for the warning.

Just finished Vols 1-4 and though the writing is a bit clunky at times, the world-building has been really interesting, IMO.
