On top of the peril she faces from her own teacher, there are also the capes and fellow apprentices to worry about, to say nothing of having to keep up a civilian cover.
Most dangerous of all, though, are those who loathe the guild’s very existence. Old grudges mean some are willing to go to any length to see the guild turned to ash, along with each one of its members. Even the lowly apprentices.

Ida had it up sooner but the site goes thru some kind of an update every night and you can’t upload for a couple hours when it does…
I use a program called InAudible (search the forum, there’s plenty on it and constant updates to newest revision) It’ll decrypt an .aax file, remove drm and put an .m4b (chaptered or not. Up to you) with a cover .jpg into a folder in about 30secs flat.

Just bought this. Hate the audible player. Mp3, then m4b is better as I use VLC player. And it is much more portable. Support the authors. Drew Hayes is one of my favorites.

@Whackbag, firstly many thanks for the upload, always appreciated. Can I ask a favor of you - given your prowess with Inaudible and my ineptitude the recently uploaded Mark Greaney, Gunmetal gray was in .aa format and I failed miserably to remove the drm protection- any chance you could help please ?

I’d love to help u’s out… Heck… I’d love to upload a bunch of stuff im sitting on, but the damn site refuses to cooperate and it hasnt let me post since my last one some 8-10 hrs ago. Dunno whats goin on but i sure hope they fix it soon.

thanks for the ripping info, I was still using d buster and that is damn near real time compared to what you pull off. even though I end up buying most of the books in a series, I like to use vlc to play the files so I end up making mp3 or m4b anyway, cause my library is becoming a bit overcrowded, that and I liked this author enough to support him on that patron site.
Any case, thanks again for the info and all of your up’s, maybe next time I will be quick enough.lol

book 2 - the audio ver is out, anyone seen a copy yet? Great series potential. I waited for this one so long i suffered through crappy reading glasses to read it in print. WORTH IT! still want the audiobook if anyone can manage it.. and THANKS!
