The God Machine 2: An Isekai LitRPG (The God Machine, Book 2)
Length: 17h 21m
Luke battles strange creatures as he journeys across unfamiliar terrain to reach the God Machine and recover his long-lost family in this fantasy adventure.
Luke Bennet isn’t fighting alone anymore. The beautiful dwifkin Zea is stalwart by his side, and it’s a good thing too. As if the battle-prone squirrel folk and otter-kin weren’t enough, he’s got mercenaries, bands of raiders, and a bloodthirsty inquisitor on his tail. All he wants is to get back his missing family. Can’t a guy catch a break?
To that end, Luke is honing his skills by battling all the beasts that get between him and completion of his mission. Still, he and Zea are both banking on a bloodline purification ritual to help them get to the God Machine. And they’re trying not to think too hard about what will happen to them when Luke goes back to his home world. That is, if he survives that long . . .
Even as he levels up again and again, enemies keep coming out of the woodwork. The church sees all off-worlders as apostates, but it seems to have a particular loathing for Luke. Why does the Pantheon want him dead? Why does everyone appear to want him dead?
The second volume of the hit LitRPG adventure series—with more than 600,000 views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

I was just checking to see if anyone had posted the third book yet. It’s been out a while now but I guess it’s not important. I see the talk about the 20 minutes of stats. It’s been a little while since I listened to these books so I can’t remember but I think if I’m remembering correctly the books written by Icalos do that also. I think the last book had 48 minutes of stats at the end that I skipped through. When you have that much and you read it 4-5 times a book it’s OK when it’s 5-10 minutes but when you start getting to 20-30 you need to find a way to reduce that junk for more story. Even when I read LitRPG books I skim that stuff and yet I still find fault with the authors math or how they add/lose points randomly. And don’t get me started on the junk they have they pick up that they never do anything with until 9 books later when they finally remember they had something for the problem all along.
