Will was mistakenly believed to be a key dissident and fugitive, on the run from the primary group, known as the Aliomenti.

I listend to this book for aprox 46 minutes before I pressed stop and deleted both book one and book two I then got on the net to write this short note. CLIP CLIP CLIP.. The whole book was silly enough unitl at aprox 46 minutes when it just went overboard.
I just do not understand why all these idiotic authors cant get it into their thick minds that nearly no pistols and very few other weapons use “clips” (nor have they since the 1960s–being generous)in the way that they keep describing in books etc.. The things these stupid authors keep calling clips are in fact magazines and are thus called magazines or for short mag or mags if they just can not help themselves from using shortend words or slang.

(@Monty - you do realize that these are fantasy novels right.
the problem is that you have heard too many fantasy novels and are getting bored of them.
Try listening to other genre books and then come back to fantasy. you might enjoy it a bit more than earlier.)

let me get this straight, you are giving a bad review to this book simply because of your implied superior knowledge about guns?
If you are so sick of it, why don’t you write your own story and put as many clips, oh I’m sorry, MAGS in your story as much as you want.
I don’t know the author, but I research him at least, and found out that he already published more than ten books.so he is probably doing something right.

@monty - It doesn’t matter if the author used an “incorrect” term. You understood the meaning. Unrelated: a parsec is a unit of distance, not time, so that should ruin the Star Wars galaxy for you. Enjoy being miserable!

it’s just a book. You should really just relax and enjoy the bits that does rub you the right way.
