In his new book, Noam Chomsky writes cogently about the threats to planetary survival that are of growing alarm today.
The prospect of human extinction emerged after World War II, the dawn of a new era scientists now term the Anthropocene. This underlines the difference between so-called aspirants of Internationalism or Globaliism-the likes of Chomsky (descendants of Communism) and the new so-called liberal left (descendants of National Socialism - read Nazism). Both bring on/or about mere serfdom.

“…top 20 smartest people alive today…” Never mind that some of the smartest people that ever lived once thought the earth was flat.
The single most unintelligent thesis this “intellectual” harbors is that the same human race that created its problems is somehow capable of solving them.
Einstein once observed that you cannot resolve errors with the same paradigm of thought that produced them. I’ll put Al up against Noam any day.

Globalism is an evolution of capitalism and the evolution of nazism is national populism.
How anyone see’s these and leftist ideas is beyond me, were Reagan and Thatcher leftist, because both were neoliberals?
To associate Nazism with modern liberals is equally far off. One they are pro democratic, the strongly favor individual rights, you have the right to do as you choose as those right don’t infringe upon others.

Chomsky has spent an entire lifetime tirelessly documenting just how it is that the Neanderthals in the comment section came to believe that establishing international laws to set limits to corporate global totalitarianism was somehow “nazism” and nazism was “leftist”. These knuckledraggers are living in a topsy-turvy world.

This is an very timely and relevant material for our times. However, please bear in mind that this is not really a book in the traditional sense, but a collection of interviews. Some have complained that the editing could have been done better, but the contents is thoroughly worthwhile.
