the beginning is alot like the start of soulstone the awakening. WHICH WAS A TERRIBLE GOD AWFUL WRITTEN BY A 13 YEAR OLD STUPID PIECE OF POOP. With the premise of a champion gamer being chosen to try a new game. Except this one did it right! The writing was good and gave really good build up. Things were well described and well researched and the character was mature and interesting. Unlike the god awful MC in soulstone where the only thing special about him was him making non stop cringing pop culture and movie references and referenced to other lit rpg books. You’d think it would be cool but every 30 seconds he does it and its cringey as hell. So yea, this book is good. If you haven’t read soulstone the awakening yet, which is down the list. DON’T.
