It looks like the abridged versions are about one third the length.
I have read and listened to the unabridged versions with Gerard Doyle and they are amazing.
Some comments online say that Doyle’s narration is better than Kerry Shale.
If you are getting these for your kids, the abridged versions might be better. Less words and more action.
