This audiobook was ripped via a WASAPI loopback recording while playing back the audiobook in the audible web player. I made sure to use the highest quality m4a settings in the intermediate stage, and I had system sounds muted so there shouldn’t be any, but I haven’t listed to it yet. The chaptering is slightly off, only by about a second, but it’s too much work to correct it, but hopefully it’s good enough. I couldn’t find another source for this audiobook, so if it’s appreciated please let me know, as I can make other’s this way in the future, I know it’s not quite as good as an inaudible rip, but it is cheaper.

Books 5 and 6 are available on audible.com but are narrated by the Virtual Voice (it didn’t sound too bad in the clip), mind you they’re now 2 years old, so I don’t think there’s much chance we’re getting anything better, and the series has already had 3 narrators. I will probably get them, is there any interest in me uploading them? (If anyone else wants to beat me to it, then be my guest, I’m not sure if I can manage to trick another free trial out of audible.)

If you’re doing this old-school method of ripping streams, please join the forum and discuss the methodology with other members. e.g. there were apps designed to do this that may be helpful.
