Loved it, as soon as I can i’ll buy it! Can’t wait until I can listen to the all other books and there are so many already! Kind of tempted to read them rather than wait, that how much I liked this book.

I thought it could have used some more work/polish. Story and character wise.
Other then that Id have to say its not awful.

I really wanted to like this. I did enjoy the first book, but I really can’t recommend the series. Got about halfway through book 3 before dropping the series. It is just too frustrating watching the hero be this directionless, vacuous doormat. Constantly berated for asking any questions and then for not knowing things, he never makes any real decisions of his own and just goes for a ride. Meanwhile, there’s very little tension due to how absolutely, ridiculously OP he is, with none of it feeling even the tiniest bit earned.
At least it isn’t a harem though. And there aren’t any horrible two-dimensional female characters, mostly due to there not being any female characters.
