  That’s all I needed to know. I want to get the first 2 unabridged books of Brenda and Effie and then share here. They are the only 2 missing afaik.
  I’m just not sure about the drm bit, I’m not good at linux and github. Tried following your guide you posted on another DW upload but not sure as i don’t have any to test on. I’ve read thru all the other guides on ABB Forum and they are similar yet different. Trial and error. One last thing, maybe :), do i have to convert it before cancelling account or can i do that after, (once i cancel, would i still be able to read/listen to AB). To me it reads that i should dedrm it before i cancel my account there.

  Sorry again but how do you get all the other files in your torrents, ebook etc and combine in 1 torrent. I’m not new to torrent shares and have uploaded quite a bit elsewhere so I dont mean that part, just where do you get your ebooks from? I have heaps of DW ebooks already on my HD so do i just rename those or use Calibre or do you d/l then for the same site as the ABs?

  A .aax file is Audible’s “enhanced” format. (The other formats are .aa) Really, a .aax is a .mp4 encrypted with the “activation bytes” associated with an audible account. The audible-activator tool gets launches a browser window, where you sign into the correct audible account, and then it outputs the activation bytes.

  With the correct activation bytes, ffmpeg can essentially convert a .aax to a .mp4 directly. So while you CAN cancel your Audible account before converting a book if you have the activation bytes saved, I don’t. I make sure I’ve noted the activation bytes and successfully converted the book (i.e. the .mp4 works) before I cancel the Audible account. Once you have the converted mp4, you don’t need to use the activation bytes or keep the account running to listen to/share it.

  For ebooks: there are some big torrents of Doctor Who ebooks around, and if I want a specific book I look on http://libgen.io/ (search in “fiction”). I add them to Calibre, make sure they have the correct metadata (title, series, author, cover, etc.), and add the audiobook version as a new format for the book. I make sure I have both epub and mobi versions of the book, converting if necessary. Then I use the “Save to Folder” button, and make the torrent from that folder, which will have the epub, mobi, audiobook, and the .opf file with Calibre’s metadata.

  I joined, got the first book with credit, B & E Book 1, Never the bride, unabridged. D/led the aax file and that’s about it. I thought I’d try SoundTaxi first as i wasn’t sure about your way but that didnt work. So time to read up more, and do the way you suggested, I’m sure it’ll be easy once i do it the first time. I’ve done a lot harder things before but just not sure which github file to get and have it work with , why isn’t there a simple gui program that just does it.
