Read by Alex Berenson
The most important fact about the coronavirus pandemic that turned the world upside down in 2020 is that our response to it has been an epic overreaction driven by a disastrous confluence of public and private interests - all of them purporting to “follow the science”.
Since the lockdowns began, millions of Americans have relied on the reporting of Alex Berenson. Exposing the hysteria and manipulation behind the worst failure of public policy since World War I, this clear-eyed journalist has been a critical source of reason and truth.
The product of relentless investigation and research, Pandemia explains how an illness that many people will never even know they had became the occasion for economically ruinous lockdowns and the suppression of personal freedom on a previously unimaginable scale. Dispassionate, factual, and untainted by any agenda other than telling the truth, this is the account that pandemic-weary Americans desperately need.

Worked as planned. Sheeple under control. Hooray, it’s mask season again.

America deserves a permanent memorial to the 800,000 Republican voters who refused the shot, resisted wearing masks and never isolated, or even distanced.
They took no part in 1/6, and they managed not to contribute to the 2022 Red Wave.
They were patriots, and they did what America needs Republicans to do for the Nation.

Covid was just the flu rebranded.

@illodiini according to the latest stats, homeless fentanyl addicts have more sense than suicidal fools like you, at least from a mortality and death rate. The proof is when you Stockholm syndrome types proceed to ostrich your brains deep into the sand of normie stupidity when presented with the facts, data and numbers in real time. Steve Kirsch, countless high level scientists and Childrens Health Defence have been trying to educate you, but i say take another booster, you evil little creature, and enabler of all the world’s ills.

illodiini ain’t got Stockholm syndrome - he’s got Helsinki syndrome. And he doesn’t trust anyone, not even his benign captors.

The response in the United States was poor and much of that was due to a lack of coordinated planning chiefly because of incompetent leadership, starting at the top and trickling down. Masks did work (as did social-distancing) and the proof is the lack of flu season in 2020. Also, just some people were carriers and asymptomatic; many more came down with ‘flu-like symptoms’ which are universal since the body only has a few ways of naturally fighting a pathogen (like raising body temp above 100, for instance). Millions of people were hospitalized. Lots of them still live with the effects the disease had on them. One million people died. I fail to see the ‘overreaction’.
As for the ’suppression of personal freedom’…the fact that the author is American makes the entire treatise laughable. He must have lived through a different pandemic experience than I did. There were mask rules but rarely enforced. There were social-distancing and gathering-limits that were, also, rarely enforced. Nothing the federal or state governments did regarding shutdowns and the like were outside of their purview to protect the general welfare. So many Americans forgot that part of the Constitution. I saw people every day at a job where I was ‘essential’ so wasn’t able to stay at home and collect a check. With so many people protesting the “suppression of their personal freedom”, it still makes me wonder what was so bad about their home that they couldn’t even be paid to stay there. Maybe they could have helped their kids learn math or read them a book. The parents obviously didn’t do enough. Couldn’t be paid to stay at home, couldn’t teach their kids better than the schools they criticize, wouldn’t stoop to abiding by the very basic preventative measures we know, as a society in the 21st century, help curb the spread of germs. Probably proud that they rarely washed their hands and, even then, can’t be bothered to do it correctly. Yeah, my hat’s off to all those PINOs (Patriots In Name Only). Because of them, the next pandemic will be worse since a lot of states passed laws preventing the kind of shutdowns that limited the effect of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. And if not cronyism and greed (or, the personal freedom to lie, cheat, and steal), the policies half-witted together to help the pain would have been a lot more effective (think the PPP, designed to help Mom and Pop on Main Street but instead saw billions of dollars go elsewhere leaving them out in the cold). I wonder if Alex Berenson mentions any of that in his truth.
