The Kirran Hegemony is at war. Outclassed at every step, the aliens turn to the most warlike race they know—humanity! Abducted from Earth, Evan finds himself fighting for his life, using his skills to command Hegemony forces in desperate battle.
Now, helped by fellow humans, Evan must prove victory can be grasped from the jaws of impossible odds.
I do like his other series (Goblin Summoner) so thought to try and give this one a whirl as well. I got book 1 of this series and, will try to get the others ASAP to upload.

gamelit not litrpg

I kinda figured it was Gamelit but still goes under the litRPG cause they don’t have a Gamelit section. I find it an okay book and, will try to grab the rest and upload. Should I add anything extra to the tags or do you’s think it’s good?

You could remove the LitRPG tag and put it in Sci-Fi because LitRPG is a specific sub genre of Gamelit. This book has no RPG elements, it’s about an RTS strategy game so it really is mislabelled. It even says it in the title of the book :|

This sounds very much like a novel I read long ago. I can’t recall the title but I think the author was Alan Dean Foster. I’d be much obliged if anyone can provide information about the novel. It was an enjoyable read.

Okay, will search my external drives and see if I have it. If so, I’ll put it up or, ask some buds of mine if they got it. One of us should have the book. Could take a while (a day or so). Should have organized my audiobook collection better but, thought I did when it was small….not anymore.:)

Don’t think it’s the Humanx stuff. More likely is the A Call To Arms trilogy.

Okay, what I will try and do is put the 3 books up first (see if that’s the one). Humanx Commonwealth has a ton of books a bud of mine told me (29 or so). Didn’t realize it started back in the early 70’s (1972ish). He’s got them but would need to find a way to get them to me cause of Covid restrictions up here. Will post what I can and take it from there. TY for the info about the other book set.

Narrator has strong english accent.
The premise is interesting but the execution and plot is dissapointing.
