While I can’t speak to the author’s facts, one thing is certain sooner or later Mueller’s investigation is going to have to bring home some results or else the fact that he tried and failed will backfire for the 2020 elections.
This investigation isn’t even a sure thing for the 2018 elections, because the GOP will start shouting how much a waste that it has been after 1.5 years of nothing, and the fence sitters will lean that way just for the ineffectiveness of Mueller’s efforts.
Does anyone want to bet a $1 that Hillary Clinton will run in the 2020 elections? It would almost be fun to watch the DNC wet themselves again.

Andy, have you ever heard the saying “a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich.” It’s really not that difficult to get an indictment as its a prosecuter presenting his case and witnesses to a grand jury without the accused having council present. In other words, it’s a one sided case. Indictments aren’t convictions.
And while 5 guilty pleas might mean something, it would be impressive if those pleas actually lead to proving collusion. But the thing is, the pleas haven’t come close to doing that.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying a number of people that Trump surrounds himself with aren’t as slimy as him, but he’s a POS in my opinion. But being able to actually prove he colluded, and just talking about it, are two seperate things. And so far, Mueller hasn’t been able to do that.
You can claim that he just needs more time, or that if he goes after a few more people, someone’s going to turn, but so far, that hasn’t happened.
Just for clarification, please tell me, how in your opinion did Trump and the Russians rig the election for Trump to win? Did they rig the voting machines - NO. Did they somehow force people to vote for Trump - NO. Sure they MAY have used the supposed 13 trolls that were indicted earlier this year (note you haven’t heard anything about that in the news again), but Hillary had her own trolls in the Correct the Record crowd, so that wasn’t an effective technique.
I don’t believe Trump is worthy of the office, but he was elected fairly and according to the constitution.
But feel free to drink deeply of the kool-aid believing whatever the media and the DNC tell you. As someone that usually votes Democrat for President, I was angered that the DNC party allowed Hillary to run knowing she committed multiple felonies to cover up her “innocent” emails.
Probably the main reason that Trump won the election wasn’t because most people who voted for him liked or respected him, but it’s because they recognized that as bad as he is, Hillary was worse!

We shouldn’t rush to any hasty judgments, we should give him time to work through his complex, substantial legislative program.
We should follow his exemplary, statemanlike lead and not engage in puerile, abusive attacks.

First off: The investigation began with George Papadopoulos before the Steele Dossier was even known.
Second: The Dossier was begun by Trump’s Republican opponents and even though the Clinton Campaign was sold the Dossier they never released it.
Third: in 16 months of the Mueller investigation, no part of the Steele Dossier has been disproven and about 60% of it has been proven.
