I love how the people who are voting it down never listened to this book where he explains how everyone can be racist, but is speaking about his experiences.

I wonder how a book by a white author telling black people how they can think & behave better would be received, however “well intentioned”. If I were a white person, the arrogance of this author & their self righteousness would really irk me. No racist is going to read the book. It wont change a single mind, just fuel the insecurities of self loathing whites.

I have at least 5x the black friends you do TedBenson. Bare minimum.
Up until he moved my best friend was black. It took him to explain to me just how racist black people are.
They’re easily the most racist large demo in the US. Easily. Nolo Contendre. Many previously puzzling interactions fell into place once I learned this. As I implied, I’ve spent a good deal of time in black society (upper & lower class. Little middle class though.)
It’s only a slight edge black towards white though. About a tie. Blacks win on their ABSOLUTELY CONTEMPTIBLE racism towards Asians & Jews & Latinos. Not all black people obviously, but statistically it’s off the charts.
You’d know this & be less snarky if YOU had many black friends comfortable enough to tell you the truth.
Note: the actual most racist demo in the US = Chinese Americans, but they’re too small a cohort to count. Chinese overall win the world medal for abhorrent racism.
