“The F*ck It Diet is not only hilarious, it is scientifically and medically sound. A must read for any chronic dieter.” (Christiane Northrup, MD, New York Times best-selling author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom)
From comedian and ex-diet junkie Caroline Dooner, an inspirational guide that will help you stop dieting, reboot your relationship with food, and regain your personal power.
Dieting doesn’t work.
Not long term. In fact, our bodies are hardwired against it. But each time our diets fail, instead of considering that maybe our ridiculously low-carb diet is the problem, we wonder what’s wrong with us. Why can’t we stick to our simple plan of grapefruit and tuna fish? Why are we so hungry? What is wrong with us?
We berate ourselves for being lazy and weak, double down on our belief that losing weight is the key to our everlasting happiness, and resolve to do better tomorrow. But it’s time we called a spade a spade: Constantly trying to eat the smallest amount possible is a miserable way to live, and it isn’t even working. So f–k eating like that.
In The F*ck It Diet, Caroline Dooner tackles the inherent flaws of dieting and diet culture and offers listeners a counterintuitively simple path to healing their physical, emotional, and mental relationship with food. What’s the secret anti-diet? Eat. Whatever you want. Honor your appetite and listen to your hunger. Trust that your body knows what it is doing. Oh, and don’t forget to rest, breathe, and be kind to yourself while you’re at it.
Once you get yourself out of survival mode, it will become easier and easier to eat what your body really needs - a healthier relationship with food ultimately leads to a healthier you.
An ex-yo-yo dieter herself, Dooner knows how terrifying it can be to break free of the vicious cycle, but with her signature sharp humor and compassion, she shows listeners that a sustainable, easy relationship with food is possible.
Irreverent and empowering, The F*ck It Diet is call to arms for anyone who feels guilt or pain over food, weight, or their body. It’s time to give up the shame and start thriving. Welcome to the f–k it diet. Let’s eat.

I’m guessing this author is a big supporter that being Obese is very healthy for you and that everyone thinks being grossly overweight is somehow beautiful.
I think this whole movement is more of a population control method by the Elites who want to bring the population way down.

@hogweed, the author is quite svelte. You are missing her main point which is “listen to your hunger.”
She isn’t saying eat what you want whenever you want and your guess that this is another “healthy at any size” manifesto is incorrect.
Most overweight people eat in response to myriad other internal and external cues completely unrelated to hunger so re-learning to recognize and be guided by that natural instinct while ignoring or redirecting those other prompts to eat is excellent advice.

@Hogweed “I’m guessing this author… Elites who want to bring the population way down.”
FFS. Without reading a word of it, you imagine the book is about, then extrapolate your made up fact to a dumb conspiracy theory. RWNJs every time.

do not “go on a diet”. instead, permanently change what you eat.

TY again!!!
@Hogweed You may want to read the book before passing judgement on it, or look up the author before making silly assumptions. :)

I dont agree with your comments. I have seen video ads by “nutritionists” saying “eat whatever you want” while showing a video of a fat person eating donuts and saying: “its ok to eat whatever you want and feel good about yourself”. I firmly believe this is part of the continuing attempt to keep people unhealthy so they can continue to be fed into the medical and pharmaceutical machines. Our food supply has been hijacked and replaced by garbage foods for this purpose.
40% of Americans are OBESE, does that say anything? When I was young in the 60’s and 70’s, half the supermarkets were fruits and vegetables, and another 1/4 was meat and dairy. Today its barely 1/8 or less. They are moving us away from the foods that keep us healthy. I have been watching this for over 20 years and have ZERO doubts. There is an epidemic now of young people dropping dead of diseases and getting cancer younger and younger. I have numerous articles of doctors saying this is a very worrying increasing trend they have no answer for. Of course they have no answer, they wont touch the idea its our food.
Sorry to say, but most of you are sleeping, and your walkup call is going to be really bad if you wind up part of this.
I’m 66 and I’ve never taken any medication of any kind (the rare pain killer for teeth pain or other very minor need), been to a doctor 3-4 times in my life (mostly checkups) and am still going very strong because I eat nearly only whole foods and exercise. Recently Tufts University added Cheerios and Lucky Charms as a recommendation to the food pyramid which are really bad foods to eat.
We wont wake up even after cancer becomes the normal when you hit your 20’s, which we are approaching faster and faster. If you put in the time as much as I have you would also have no doubts. Believe what you like, I have seen this crap expanding more and more each year. I dont need to read this book to guess at what it is implying. If not this book, then just the media and the entire health industry.
I hope none of you become part of this sad unfolding era.
