Kvothe is an adventurer, a musician and a magically gifted young man who grows to be the most notorious wizard his world has ever seen.
In a series of semi-autobiographical tales that offers a unique take on fantasy literature, our hero encounters sorrow, survival and a search for his purpose in the universe.
These four audiobooks feature the narrator Rupert Degas (Yes, even for The Slow Regard of Silent Things).
Please Enjoy!

Just an FYI that the Degas-narrated audiobook for The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a bit of a mess. It’s no fault of Wolvenbolt’s - it’s the actual Audible copy that has some issues, and the publisher has never fixed it.
Basically, two chapters are repeated - The Far Below Bottom of Things in the beginning of the book, and The Hidden Heart of Things/Coda at the end. They’re bookended by an Author’s Foreword in the beginning, and Author’s Endnotes at the end. It essentially adds about an hour and 20 minutes of repeated reading to the book, which is why it’s so much longer than the version Rothfuss narrated himself.

@bdh420 don’t care if he’s a douche, an asshole or a twat. What he is is lazy, uncommitted and attempting to coast until a tv deal comes through so he can live off the residuals like george before pawning it off to BrandoSando to pump out some literary garbage in a month. These books were good but the wait is not worth the investment.

I am biased when it comes to these books the First book I picked up as a pocket from a hotel library on a Family trip to the Canaries in 08 or 09 and was the first book I ever read in English I essentially taught myself English from this book.
Now I will admit that yes if you are holding your hopes up for book 3 then it may be a long shot Pat has been “working on it” since probably before 2011 so almost 16 years and some change. The Name of the Wind & The Wise Mans Fear are good though I would recommend them to anybody who likes fantasy.
But there is no End in sight as far as I can tell and this is from a fan of almost 18 years I’d be hard pressed to tell someone to read a series that does not have an end, it would be like telling people to watch the TV show Alcatraz from 2012 that ended season 1 with a lot of questions. I just couldn’t do it.
If you still would like to take the leap and explore these wonderful characters and world please do. Just be prepared to wait a long time for book 3 lord knows I have.

Don’t bother starting this series. There’s no end in sight and the author has missed several deadlines.

@3trees Can ya’ll be quiet and let people read what they want to read?
If you want to complain and shame then go to reddit, this comment section should be for people who find issues with the files or wish to say thank you.
If this shit keeps up I will delete this and reupload it with the comments turned off.

^ I’m saying this to all who has made such comments, not specifically 3trees

Maybe you should do that if you are going to be policing your comments for mild wordage and caution from people who most just want to let other people know it is an unfinished series and unlikely to every be completed at this rate. No hate or anything negative as I most definitely appreciate the upload and your work doing it but if it’s bothering you to this degree to let people express opinions, even helpful ones, might just be you are better off not being able to read them.
