Climate change is off folks, the elites need too much base-load energy for their AI. And since you can’t get that with renewable, intermittent part-time green energy—there’s gonna be a little timeout.
It’s always been bullshit. Not the fact that climate changes, But this impending doom that you have to reorder your life around, giving technocrats more power, giving up your rights and liberty, and massive transfers of wealth—first it was global cooling, then it was global warming, and now climate change—I don’t think so.
When’s the last time in the last year you have heard the oligarchs or “heroes” like Leo talking about climate policy? Right now, they want their AI more than they want climate change, but don’t worry, it’s still totally real and it’s still totally going to kill you, we’re just having a little timeout.

Man-made climate change is real. The vast majority of climate scientists agree, and have done so for decades with increasing certainty. Their’s is the only opinion that matters - they are the experts in their field.
Climate change is not off - not a day goes by without some story concerning the impact of climate change. A.I. needs energy but it is up to us to decide where that energy comes from, that needs to be from sources that do not worsen, and ideally lessen man-made climate change.
The alternative is that much, if not all, of the planet becomes uninhabitable for us, and the animals and plants we live off. People already fearmonger about migrants heading north from equatorial countries. As countries near the equator become increasingly uninhabitable, the migration to northern and southern countries is only going to increase. If people want to help prevent that, they need to start actually treating man-made climate change like the true generational problem that it is, and do something about it, rather than spreading misguided and ignorant conspiracy theories on the Internet.
