Tells a tale of misfits and muddlers in a Kent village, whose theatrical endeavours rouse the long arm of the past with murderous consequences.

Murder At the Laurels (2007)
(The second book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
Libby Sarjeant finds herself involved in a mystery because of the death of her friend Fran’s Aunt Eleanor. Echoes of the past clash with very 21st century motives, and once again, the Steeple Martin posse are on hand to give encouragement and advice.

Murder in Midwinter (2007)
(The third book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
Fran is consulted by Bella Morleigh, who has been left a derelict seaside theatre by an unknown relative. Bella wants to know more about her family, particularly when a body is found in the theatre, and despite being deep in pantomime rehearsals at The Oast House Theatre, Libby and Fran are soon involved in another murder investigation.

Murder By the Sea (2008)
(The fourth book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
When a body is discovered on a rocky little island in the middle of Nethergate Bay the media swoop on the seaside town. Soon an enquiring hack discovers that local resident Fran Castle, has previously aided the police using her psychic abilities. Brought into the investigation, Fran naturally asks her friend Libby Sarjeant to help, but they soon find themselves up to their knees in more mud and murder than they could possibly have anticipated.

Murder in Bloom (2009)
(The fifth book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
‘Floundering in the footsteps of a deliberately downplayed police enquiry, Libby manages to stir up more mud than the rotavator’. When television personality Lewis Osbourne-Walker buys Creekmarsh Place, near Steeple Martin in Kent, Libby Sarjeant’s son Adam is employed to help with the renovation of the garden. What he doesn’t expect is to uncover a long buried corpse. Libby, naturally, wants to know more about it, but the police aren’t going to tell her, and with her friend Fran’s mind on other things, she has to go it alone, with interesting and possibly catastrophic results.

Murder in the Green (2010)
(The sixth book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
A local Morris Man is found dead on May Day and another seems to have vanished into thin air. Libby goes out of her comfort zone as far as Cornwall in search of the solution, which, in the end, is found much closer to home, turning out to be the most unpleasant case she has dealt with yet.

Murder Imperfect (2010)
(The seventh book in the Libby Sarjeant Mysteries series)
The seventh title in the Libby Sarjeant series finds her distracted from involvement with her local pantomime by her friend Harry, who asks her to help a friend of his who has been receiving threatening letters. At first she believes it to be a simple case of prejudice, but soon Libby uncovers links to particularly nasty crimes in the past, revelations that have catastrophic results.
