Awful sound quality. Did you over compress? 1.3 gig file with good sound quality is better than small file with bad quality. Did you amplify or tweak EQ? Wave form is only chopped a little but it is really sharp on top like Death Magnetic but much worse because it is not original but something happened to it. I’m not a newbie to listening to mp3 here on this and other sites. I’ve listened to other McMillian audio books and they are not this bad. Did you play it online and rip at the same time? Sorry I’m not expert on technical side, but I’m expert on hearing. Try again please!! You’re almost there. So close. Good enough torrent otherwise, labeling, etc. Don’t give up katesky!!! :) :) :) :)

OK, you are not a newbie either. Sorry. My bad. McMillan must have screwed up the master on this book. Sorry. Too bad so sad. They probably had inconsistent volume from studio and normalized it and ruined it. At least on really bass sound audio books you can tweak the EQ and lower the bass and maybe lift the mid a touch. But not this. What a bummer.
