I was authorized - I couldn’t believe they let me do this - I did a two-part probably 10,000 words unbelievably scathing critique on James Hansen. … Actually his scientific work isn’t even in question, it’s more of his public claims and publicity and interviews. I still felt restrained, so I started doing what I call the underground newsletters which went much further than anything else, had a lot more fun, a lot more humor, wit, sarcasm and sometimes nastiness. That went out and that became the basis for Climate Depot.

Global warming/cooling to climate change. The goalposts keep getting moved as claims keep getting disproven. It has become a research grant racket protected by religious like fever. Anyone who dares question the data, what is actually causing climate change, or suggests is a natural cyclical occurrence is shouted down and treated as a troglodyte.
When humans can have 1/1000 of an affect on the earth’s temperature as the sun and natural weather cycles then I will worry. Debate the facts within, not assume you are right and attack people who question the current claims.
It is science after all. The truth should be the goal, not the suppression of an opposite view.

This is the guy whose claim to fame is that he was the first to publish the Swift Boat lie. His “expertise” in this matter is that he is just another paid mouthpiece like the toads he has worked for, including Rush Limbaugh, who gets paid to be a blowhard, and Jim Inhofe, who gets his campaign money from oil, natural gas, and coal companies that received $369 billion, $121 billion, and $104 billion (2010 dollars) worth of subsidies in return. If you believe this guy, you probably believed the tobacco companies when they had guys like this saying the same thing about smoking and cancer. But no, actually, you would probably not be saying anything, because you would be dead.
