In L.A. Confidential Rollo Tomassi is the name invented by one of the cops for the unknown criminal who killed his father. Did this author choose this as a pseudonym because it was already a pseudonym? Or is it the author’s real name?

No it isn’t his real name. It’s a nom de plume as well as a Youtube personae he’s adopted when speaking about intergender dynamics.
