Man created and controlled nuclear fusion is a pipe dream and a fool’s errand. No matter how many trillions they throw down that rabbit hole it will always be “ten years away”.

We haven’t really spent that much on fusion research. By we I mean the world, the US military budget for 1 year is more than the total worldwide investment in fusion power combined in 80 years.
If they pull it off it will change everything. It would be the kind of milestone like BCE and CE. BF and AF kind of moment in human history.

the powers that be will never let Nuclear Fusion become reality. There is just to much money invested fossil fuels. from what i gather there has been a couple break throughs on sustained clean free energy for all. But the people involved either disappear or get discredited somehow. This will only happen when fossil fuels completely run out.
