Instead of trying to predict “Black Swan” events such as coups or crises, forecasters should look at how political systems handle disorder. The best indicator of a country’s future trajectory is not a lengthy past stability, but recent moderate volatility.

Could someone who has successfully downloaded this with the magnet re-post so that it works with the regular link? Would very much appreciate it. These are some excellent business/finance books. Hate to miss them.

I’m not sure that can be done at the moment - even Triforge is having difficulties with her torrents, and she’s a mod on the forum. I don’t think the cause has been pinned down yet.

Haveanotherpuff came up with the solution (I never would have known otherwise)– just google online torrent magnet generator (or you can use this link: http://www.romanr.info/magnet.html
All you have to do is copy and paste the you want’s infohash that ABB gives above, and you should be good to go.
Thanks again to haveanotherpuff for saving the day on this!

Hi all, I’m new here and noticed quite a few comments about magnet links not working for some people.
The ‘Open Magnet-Link’ dialog box that comes up when one clicks the ‘+ Add’ button on Tixati allows one to enter a magnet link OR the raw info-hash.
I just copy and paste the info-hash numbers into the box and it works fine for me and avoids the need for magnet links.
After trying most of the torrent clients out there, once I discovered Tixati, I knew it was the one for me and I love it so much. It initialises files before downloading, so it avoids the disk cache overload error, which I was getting all the time with μTorrent, qBittorrent, etc. And it is super customisable (and pretty intuitive), which is a big bonus as I like creating my own rules and having full control. As long as one has a semi-decent HDD, the initialising is normally super fast (DLing to an external HDD is also fast, but I have had slow initialising speeds when using memory cards).
Plus, it’s free and, as far as I can tell, no dodgy goings on behind the scenes like μTorrent does/did with Bitcoin mining, advertising and other questionable practices.
Of course, it has its drawbacks (closed-source is the main criticism most people have, but I personally think that’s not an overly valid criticism as I trust the developers and most people’s computers are full of closed-source programs).
I do have a pretty old set-up, so maybe I wouldn’t of had so many problems with qBittorrent (which is open-source and security focused) if I was using a better machine, but I’m not sure if it (or any other torrent client) allows the input of raw info-hash, which is the main reason I mention Tixati.
P.S. A massive thank you to all of the uploaders and seeders on this site. You are all absolute legends! This is now my go-to site for audiobooks after using Demonoid and TPP for many years.

TL;DR
Tixati allows the entry of raw info-hash, bypassing the need for magnet links.

ctrl+C -> (V) into some magnet address/torrent address entry in your client
or google the info hash and get it from some other tracker
