Thank you sartre100 & manangbiday1 for your two postings on impeachment. I might be fun to see you debate the subject matter. :-)
While I don’t particularily care if Trump is impeached or not, I would want to see it at least be for an actual crime and not just for political hay making.
But the simple fact of the matter is that if the Dems control the House in 2018, he’ll be impeached. If they also control the Senate, he’ll be expelled from office.
But as it stands right now, the Dems may or may not take control of the House as it’s pretty close, and probably won’t take control of the Senate, so all the posturing is just for show and drama.
Too bad both parties didn’t run better candidates back in 2016, and then sane majority of the world wouldn’t have to suffer with America’s political drama kings & queens.

+Hardworker55337 In all honesty, I am not at all certain Trump will be impeached even if the Dems have all the power. From a foreigner’s perspective, the US has been gradually slipping into deep entrenchment and conservativism for at least 40 years by international standards. Their Dems are little different from Conservatives in most developed countries.
They may occasionally play it up on progressive victory such as gay rights. But for every 1 victory forward, they had setbacks on almost every other front. The Dems, with their caliber of representative at the time, will at best make a show of it to get some political capital, with nothing to show for. Even if they manage it, they still get Mike Pence which is another kind deplorable.

In Australia we love Trump because of the type of people he upsets, and makes cry, and shriek in impotent rage… Imagine collecting these books, that’s a completely obsolete row on your bookshelf… The whimpering and gnashing of teeth from the left has graduated from alarming to amusing as time goes by…

@BobdeNassty Don’t slander Australians with your vile accusations. We, collectively, certainly do not support Trump in any way at all. Sadly we have bigots too, but they are a minority.
If you are really Australian, you might recall that one of Trump’s first acts as president was to abuse our PM. And now his trade war is going to hurt us, along with the US and the rest of the world.

The most disappointing of all this, is that the political system and it’s members especially, disagree on everything and it all affects the American people, The political class uses Americans as tools and weapons for their own personal gain. The country is too far down the road to have meaningful reparation. An overthrow of Government is needed to cleanse this country. It has become a corrupted hard drive which can only be repaired by reformatting and reinstalling the operating system. And the new program should have term limits; rules preventing government officials from working on K street after their service. 401K’s instead of government pensions. And every rule or law they create, they cannot be exempt from.

Hilarious how supposedly people are butthurt because they’re intelligent enough to recognize a madman. Just because your brain cells don’t amount to enough to recognize a dictator in the making doesn’t mean that those who protest are butt hurt. You guys were all up in arms when Clinton was sleeping with other women and you thought Obama wasn’t American, and yet you’re seriously okay with what Trump is doing? Your stupidity is mind baffling. @345435 — Sorry, I can’t believe you are Australian, to say that Turnbull “attscked” Trump by reminding him him he can’t just tear up treaties the US has signed. Trump abused him and hung up on him. Maybe that made his “base” happy, I cannot credit that anyone else in the world could support him (except those that wish the US to decline).

Elections are often like that - you have to opt for the least worst.
It’s uncanny how the candidates were so unreasonably appalling on that occasion (there must have been human sacrifices for these evil powers to predominate).
