I swore to god that they said if Trump was elected, we would end up in WW3. Must had been scare tactics…something the LEFT is good at… ahem (COVID). But we don’t have to worry about WW3 with Biden. He would rather just let Putin take Ukraine and China Taiwan. Yes, he will put sanctions on them…but won’t enforce them… as the norm.

Okay, Got through maybe an hour, and since the author conveniently died in 2020, we cannot know his thoughts on the present crisis, because as of THIS book, he is a total Putin-apologist.
Rating this book feels like being an ice skating judge: Technical merits 9.57 (audio quality was very good) Presentation -5. Some of what Cohen says about Putin, given what we are seeing and now know, makes my skin crawl, much like listening to Neville Chamberlain’s uniquely banal take on Hitler at Munich. You already know what’s coming, and can only cringe at the words.

So here are five straightforward lessons — none acceptable in what passes for discussion and debate in this country — that could be drawn from that last half century of every kind of American warfare:

It’s not the sort of thing said in our world, but the VA is in a crisis of financing and caregiving that, in the present context, cannot be solved, no matter whom you hire or fire. The only long-term solution would be to stop fighting losing wars that the American people will pay for decades into the future, as the cost in broken bodies and broken lives is translated into medical care and dumped on the VA.
