This book makes me mad. The characters are so annoying. first of all the main character lets his emergency guests dictate whether or not he goes out to check on his friends. If he hadn’t listened to the guests, he might have actually saved his friends lives. then after discovering that his friends are dead and somebody buried them in separate Graves in the backyard, he starts calling his guests baby as if he’s falling in love with her. It’s been a few hours since he rescued them. What kind of fool trusts anyone let alone a woman in a post-apocalyptic world? I’m only at chapter 8. I can only imagine how bad it’s going to get further into the book.
