Must agree, this narrator should read textbooks.
Fortunately there’s a new audio version by George Guidall released this year. Hopefully it will be here soon.

I wouldn’t give him a job even reading phone books. His ponderous pace (slowing to a crawl when a hard word is coming up), his excruciating enunciation, his incredibly poor foreign accents and his infuriating emphasis on the penultimate or ultimate word is sentences (as if he’s overjoyed he’s about to finish them) make him the most cringeworthy reader I have ever heard - and that includes all the amateur Libravox readers.
