History has shown that single payer healthcare leads to increased costs due to lack of competition. The problem with healthcare - especially in America is the way the supplying companies (pharmaceuticals, hardware and general supplies) are allowed to pay ‘incentives’ to use this product or another and how the sales people have massive budgets to do this. Remove that and take away the million dollar bonuses available to top employees and prices will comes down accordingly.

It’s weird how the rest of the world takes care of it’s people but here in the land of the free we let these extortionists profit off the most vulnerable ,the sick and the injured, and then deny claims as standard procedure.
