This 20 minute story comes with a square mini comic book. Luke, Lando, Wedge, Mon Mothma, and Ackbar aren’t in this story. Also, although it’s a TIME WARNER production, none of the actors from the DARK EMPIRE tapes had reprised their roles. Jeff Edelman is the narrator. David Kolin is C3PO and a smuggler. Armand Schultz is Han. Melanie Mitchell is Leia. Chris Phillips is another smuggler. Barry Carl is the Imperial pilot. The executive producer is John Wynne. The producer/director is Kevin Thomsen. John Whitman wrote the story. John Cassaras is the production coordinator. John Williams’s music on this audiobook include: MAIN TITTLE, BEN’S DEATH, TIE FIGHTER ATTACK, CANTINA BAND (Nar shaddaa scene), THE EWOK BATTLE, THE THRONE ROOM, END TITTLES. Of course, Ben Burtt did the sound effects. Ryder Windham edited the (abridged, compared with the tape) script and layouts within the comic. Bill Hughes did the art. Steve Dutro did the lettering. Pamela Rambo did the colors.

I had this story but not with the accompanying comic, this is a real treat. I used to have a bunch of audio story/comics when I was a kid, so this brings back a bunch of cool memories.
